Once upon a time, I was a grad student studying public health. Working as a graduate assistant in the basement office i shared with two others, little did I know the career path i would eventually take.
I've enjoyed photography for as long as I can remember. From the instant polaroids and disposable cameras I'd go through as a child, to the point-and-shoots and DSLRs that carried me into adulthood. I was one of those people that thought college was just what you did after high school, so off I went to earn two degrees.
It wasn't until after I had my first daughter and decided not to return to my job in the corporate world that I finally took the plunge and started my business.
My goal for wedding days and portrait sessions is to capture both posed and candid photos. I'll guide you along the way, as I know a lot of people can be uncomfortable in front of the camera. The best way to get those beautiful, candid photos though is to just be yourself and let the moments happen naturally!
I aim for a brighter, true to color style. In 20 years, I want you to be able to look back on your photos and not see a trendy fad.
